Intermission 2

The 2nd period - Hossa went down; slammed into the boards and hasn't been back out since... I'm praying somehow, someway he'll back it back out for the third, but I'm pretty sure he's done for the game... I just hope he's not out longer than tonight...praying it's something minor, but we don't know anything as far as his status...

The period has been, like I said, a downer with the Islanders tieing the game up 3-3... and will hopefully make for a thriller 3rd... but we just can't play as bad as we did in the 2nd, and we've gonna put Hossa's injury out our minds...

Thrashers media hands us all stats from the third period... it's amazing how quickly they can process all of this, print it out and hand them out to all of the media...

Let's hope the Thrash can come out on top tonight... they started out all too well... but the good news is we didn't take one single penalty in the second period... the refs might be giving us the benefit out the doubt because Hossa went down... maybe they feel bad for us?

Well see, 3 and some change left till the third..
